What is a Grade Calculator?

A grade calculator computes your overall course grade by combining individual assignment or exam scores according to their weight in the final grade. Most courses use a weighted grading system where different assessments carry different levels of importance — for example, homework might count 20%, a midterm 30%, and a final exam 50%. Simply averaging all scores without accounting for weights would give an inaccurate result.
