1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Budgeto: Expense Tracker ("Budgeto", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information when you use our iOS application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information You Enter

To help you manage your money, the app lets you enter information such as:

  • Expenses and income amounts
  • Categories, notes and dates for transactions
  • Budgets, savings goals and bill reminders
  • Your preferred currency and app settings

This information is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see it.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Budgeto does not collect or request:

  • Your name, email address or phone number
  • Bank account logins or card numbers
  • Your location
  • Contacts, photos or other personal files
  • Advertising identifiers or tracking data

4. Device Backups

If you have iCloud or device backups enabled, your app data may be included in your Apple backups. These backups are managed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not by us.

5. Exporting Your Data

If you use the export feature, the app creates a file on your device. You decide where to save or share that file. Once exported, you are responsible for keeping it secure.

6. Notifications

If you turn on bill or budget reminders, the app asks for permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your iPhone Settings.

7. Third-Party Services

Budgeto does not share your data with third parties, advertisers or data brokers. Apple may collect limited, anonymous crash and usage data if you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your device settings. This is controlled by Apple and by you.

8. Data Security

Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security, such as your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID. We recommend keeping your device locked and up to date.

9. Deleting Your Data

You can delete individual records inside the app at any time. To remove all of your data, simply delete the app from your device. Because we do not store your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

10. Children's Privacy

Budgeto is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
