Does speech to text work offline?

No. The Web Speech API requires an internet connection to process audio through the browser speech recognition service.

Which browsers support this?

Google Chrome on desktop and Android has the best support. Firefox and Safari have limited or no Web Speech API support.

Chrome supports 60+ languages including English, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese.

Audio is processed by your browser built-in speech service. MTempMail does not receive or store any audio data.
