What is a Tasbeeh Counter?

A Tasbeeh (تسبیح), also known as a digital tasbih or dhikr counter, is a tool used by Muslims to count the repetition of Islamic phrases (dhikr). Traditionally made of 99 or 33 beads, this digital version works on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop — with no app download required.

In Afghanistan and across the Muslim world, tasbeeh is used after every Salah (prayer) to recite SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar 33 times each — a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

How to Use

  1. Select a dhikr preset above or type your own custom phrase.
  2. Tap the large button each time you say the dhikr.
  3. The ring fills up and alerts you when a round is complete.
  4. On Android it vibrates gently on each tap — like a physical bead.
  5. Use Undo if you tap by mistake, Reset to save and start fresh.
