What is a Tasbeeh Counter?
A Tasbeeh (تسبیح), also known as a digital tasbih or dhikr counter, is a tool used by Muslims to count the repetition of Islamic phrases (dhikr). Traditionally made of 99 or 33 beads, this digital version works on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop — with no app download required.
In Afghanistan and across the Muslim world, tasbeeh is used after every Salah (prayer) to recite SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar 33 times each — a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
How to Use This Digital Tasbeeh
- Select a dhikr preset or type your own custom phrase.
- Tap the large بِسْمِ اللّٰه button each time you say the dhikr.
- The counter tracks your progress around the ring and alerts you when a round is complete.
- On mobile it vibrates gently on each tap — just like a physical bead.
- Use Undo if you tap by mistake, and Reset to start fresh.
