Activation & Verification Code Issues

If you requested an activation link or OTP verification code and it hasn't appeared in your Free Edu & .COM Temporary Mails inbox yet, please follow these 4 steps:

  1. Click the "Refresh" button: While our server polls for new messages automatically every few seconds, clicking the manual Refresh button forces an immediate sync with the mail server.
  2. Allow 1 to 2 minutes: Some external platforms (such as Facebook, Netflix, Discord, or Steam) queue outgoing verification emails during peak hours, creating a brief 60–120 second transit delay before the message reaches our mail transfer agent (MTA).
  3. Change the Domain / Generate a New Address: If a specific service restricts certain public domain extensions, click "Change" or "Delete" on the homepage to generate a fresh address on an alternative domain name.
  4. Verify the exact spelling: Make sure you copied the full address including the domain without any leading/trailing spaces.
Pro Tip: Websites rarely send verification emails to blacklisted domains. We continuously rotate new, pristine domains to guarantee the highest deliverability rate in the industry.

Incoming emails are processed within sub-seconds upon reaching our high-speed SMTP relays. The moment the sending server completes the SMTP handshake, our real-time websocket and polling system renders the message directly onto your screen without requiring a page reload.

Some services cross-reference signups against known disposable email blacklists. When this occurs:
  • Click "Change" on the home screen to pick a different domain from our active domain pool. We add new, unflagged domains weekly.
  • Consider using our Temporary Gmail or EDU Temp Mail options which mimic authentic educational or corporate addresses.
Inbox Rules

Mailbox Lifespan & Email Recovery

Your generated email address remains active for as long as your session is active, or until you manually click "Delete" or "Change". Incoming messages are automatically pruned after 24 hours to safeguard your privacy and maintain optimal server performance.

Yes! If you noted down your previous temporary email address username and domain, you can click "Change" on the homepage, enter the same username, and select the corresponding domain. You will immediately regain access to any newly received messages for that address. However, messages deleted by the 24-hour retention purge cannot be restored.

Yes. Free Edu & .COM Temporary Mails fully supports HTML rendering, inline images, and downloadable file attachments (PDFs, ZIPs, photos, invoices). Each attachment is scanned for security and can be saved directly to your computer or phone with one click.

Standard free tier requests are rate-limited to 60 requests per minute per IP, which is plenty for automated QA test suites. If your application requires high-volume dedicated endpoints or higher throughput, check out our Premium Plans.
