Convert Chinese Jin (斤) and Liang (两) to Kilograms and Pounds.
If you visit a supermarket or wet market in Mainland China, you will rarely see prices listed per Kilogram. Instead, prices are almost exclusively listed per Jin (斤). The Jin is the traditional Chinese unit of weight.
Our Jin to KG Converter easily translates these local measurements. In modern Mainland China, 1 Jin is standardized to exactly 500 grams (0.5 kg). A smaller unit, the Liang (两), is exactly 50 grams (1/10th of a Jin). Use this tool to quickly understand fruit, meat, and vegetable prices in international standards.
