How to Add a Favicon to Your Website

  1. Design your favicon above and download the PNG.
  2. Upload it to your website's root directory.
  3. Add the HTML tag in your <head>: <link rel="icon" href="/favicon.png">
  4. For Apple devices add: <link rel="apple-touch-icon" href="/favicon-180.png">

Často kladené otázky

The standard browser favicon is 16×16 or 32×32 pixels. For modern retina displays, 32×32 is recommended. Apple devices require 180×180 for the home screen icon. For PWA apps, 512×512 is needed.
